15 Ways To Get Strong & Shredded

Here are 15 ways you can get Strong And Shredded:

1. Start every workout off with a heavy barbell lift. If you are in the business of getting strong, starting every workout off with a squat, deadlift, bench press or overhead press variation is a good idea

2. Do a finisher at the end of every workout. When done properly, finishers are a great way to burn fat while preserving muscle.

3. Train hard, recover harder. If you are going to beat your body up lifting heavy weights, you need to spend time promoting recovery.

4. Stop eating like a little girl. You are never going to add muscle and get ripped if you don’t eat enough calories.

5. Use Bodyweight and dumbbell training to supplement your barbell training. While barbells are great, it’s good to include some variety into your training.

6. Use jump training and medicine ball training  to become more explosive. What’s the point of being strong if you can’t utilize your own strength? Throw medicine balls often and do jumps regularly to improve explosive power and strength.

7.   Learn from others who are stronger then you. Chances are you know somebody who is a lot stronger then you. It would be in your best interest to see what you can learn from them.

8. Focus on the principle of progressive overload. While it would be great to add 5lbs to all your lifts every week, this simply isn’t realistic for non beginners. But this doesn’t mean you can’t progress. Instead, focus on establishing new 6-10 rep maxes or finishing the workout in record time.

10. Eat like a caveman. If it doesn’t grow in the ground, walk on land or swim in the sea you probably shouldn’t be eating it.

11. Listen to your body. If your injured get help, if your feeling great that day then hit it hard. Use the principle of auto-regulation to get the most out of your workouts.

12. Train your back like a beast. A BIG back is one of the most impressive features you can have, make sure you hit it hard in the gym with various pull-ups rows and deadlifts.

13. Be consistent. Do not skip workouts.

14. Stop making excuses. At the end of the day it is up to YOU to put in the work. If you don’t put in the work at the gym, don’t eat right, don’t recover properly then don’t expect great results.

15. Challenge yourself. If you do not challenge yourself during your workouts then why are you training in the first place?
