How To Get Back In Shape

Question:

Hey Joe, I’m a former baseball athlete that has basically stopped
doing as much sports activity as I once did. I want to get back into
shape but fear that when I try to I push myself to much and get hurt.
That really discourages me because I can not do what I once was able
to do and causes me to give up. Any advice for a good way to start my
training again? Thanks.

-This needs to be a lifestyle change in order for it to be consistent

-Start with baby steps. 2-3 X a week in the gym for 30-45 minutes

-Do basic bodyweight exercises and mix in some dumbbell exercises
